1-2-3-4 What Are We Fighting For ?

It's amazing how one small issue can cause such a large epiphany. The issue is Florida's attempt to ban texting while driving. The epiphany occurred while listening to my local talk radio Goddess.


Sidebar: I mean that literally. A mere mortal could not maintain this person's schedule, level of excellence and accuracy on almost every issue. There is definitely something supernatural about Joyce Kaufman!


The fact that the State was once again making an attempt to control my personal behavior was not surprising. What shook me was that I actually started to weigh the merits of this unconstitutional legislation. I quickly did away with that knee jerk reaction. Obviously, texting on your cellphone while operating a motor vehicle is boneheaded and extremely dangerous. It certainly increases the chances of having an accident but unless a traffic law is violated am I not exercising my right to pursue happiness? Extend this logic and I could easily argue that conservative talk radio should also be banned. It distracts like minded listeners and enrages Leftists, Liberals and politically corrected robots. This is certainly a recipe for traffic disaster!


As the callers chimed in during the radio program, I heard fellow Patriots weighing in on both sides of the issue. It forced me to stop and reconsider all the events of the past year. I have seen the flag waving, bumper stickers and t-shirts. I have applauded the red/white/blue signs, tea-parties and quoting of the Founding Fathers. I always thought we were all fighting for the same goal.


This movement has been labeled many things; The Second Revolution, Refounding of America, and so on. For me, the Revolution has already been fought and won, the country was founded over 200 years ago and the founding principles haven't changed just ignored. For me this is all about "Reclaiming Our Birthright".


As Americans, we are endowed with the birthright of Freedom. We all have it. Rich, poor, black, white, man, woman, all of us. We are free to live our lives in whatever manner we choose as long as we don't interfere with another's pursuit of happiness. Over the years, we have ceded freedom after freedom to the government. Some for a false sense of safety, others out of envy and most out of apathy. Bearing the torch of freedom and passing it on to the next generation requires constant vigilance. Hard work. Many have shirked this duty, myself included.


My epiphany was this. If we are having trouble with the small issue of "texting while driving", what happens with the really big issues?


-Are you ready to dismantle the tyrannical IRS (only place in America where you are guilty until proven innocent)?
-Repeal or replace the property tax (insidious transfer of private property ownership from citizen to government)?
-Repeal most of our legal code (anything limiting personal behavior that doesn't directly impede another's right to pursue happiness)?
-Eliminate the social safety nets (illegal direct transfers of property from one citizen to another)?

If we are going to live as the Founder's intended and reclaim the gift endowed by the Creator, we have a lot of work to do and I'm ready but if this fight is only about changing D's to R's, count me out. If it's simply stopping the Obama agenda, I'll have to pass. If you're looking to coronate a kinder, gentler master so you can go back to sleep, you missed the point.


As we start the new year, we should take a minute to think this through and make sure we are all on the same page and fighting for the same goal. If not, we will easily be divided and conquered and what will come after that will be much worse than what we have now.


We are all familiar with the saying, "There's no such thing as being a little pregnant. You either are or you're not." The same holds true for Freedom. Let's be crystal clear on the objective and fight together to reclaim what is rightfully ours!!

Imagine !

One of my wife’s favorite songs is John Lennon’s “Imagine”. I too like the song even if it is misguided and utopian. That may be Mr. Lennon’s idea of a perfect world but it is not mine. We all have a picture in our head of what the world should look like. The vast majority of us will never have the power, money or influence to implement our vision of the ideal society. In fact, if you really think about it, there is only one institution capable of implementing its will upon people’s everyday life.


Many will tell you that religion has caused most of the problems throughout history. Some other s will say that militaries have been the root of all evil. I would submit to you that the greatest source of pain, suffering and misery throughout the history of mankind has been tyrannical government. Religious fanaticism or runaway militarism cannot sustain itself without money, organization and political support.


Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. This truth cannot be denied. Our wise forefathers understood this perfectly. They created a Republic with a small and weak Federal government full of checks and balances and restricted by a Constitution. If followed as designed, our country would allow the maximum amount of individual Liberty ever known to an organized civilization.


We all have a vision of a perfect world and it is nice to dream. Human nature will never allow us to live in perfect harmony so we must settle on the next best thing. If we are all allowed to live our lives without restraints and the only limitation is that we do not interfere with another’s pursuit of happiness, I think we have come as close to perfection as we can on this imperfect Earth.


That is what is written into the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Unfortunately, what we are witnessing now is a bloodless unopposed Socialist revolution. It is occurring right in front of your eyes. The hypnotic rhetoric and the media propaganda have anesthetized a large portion of the population. The sad reality is that this system has been tried over and over again throughout recent history and has failed miserably each and every time and most do not know their history or simply are not paying attention.


Many of us saw this coming and tried to warn the rest. We were called many names and are still defamed. The man that holds the highest office in the land does not hold dear what many of us are willing to sacrifice even our very lives for. He is ramming a Leftist coup d’état through a super majority Congress in lightening fast speed so that he can bypass the will and input of the owner’s of the country. The Constitution is held in contempt and seen as an obstacle to him and his conspirators. The Republicans are not much better than the Democrats, much like two mafia families that divide up their territories and only fight in public when their boundaries have been violated.


What can the average citizen do to return this country to its founding principles? Learn you rights. Read the Constitution. Think long and hard what it means to be an American. Go back to the beginning and realize that you are Free and that by law, your government cannot control you. Vote out your Congressmen and Senators just for the hell of it and to send a message to Washington that you understand who the boss is. Are You Awake Yet?

Many of you scoffed at my earlier post when I pointed out that the false science of “Global Warming” would be used in much the same way that the Nazis used the false science of “Eugenics”. I tried to warn you that Fascists will use whatever means necessary to exert their control upon the population.
Please recall that in the 1970’s they warned us about an imminent “ice age”. Then it became “global warming” because we had slight uptick in global temperatures during the late 1990’s. This quickly became “climate chaos” as we are now in a slight cooling trend. I believe the current mass hysteria producing term is “climate change”. I suppose this is the safest term for the fear mongers to settle on since the climate is in a perpetual state of change.

As you watch this video of Al Gore, try to stay awake at least until you hear him reveal the real reason for the Cap and Trade Bill that is moving through Congress. This legislation will turn over the reins of most industries into the hands of governing elites. Al Gore refers to this as “Global Governance”. This of course, begs the question, who will be governing the industries of the world.

I will not attempt to answer that question. I think it’s time for you to do some research on your own. There are plenty of resources online and you can check my archives here for some guidance. Keep this in mind though. This legislation along with Obama’s recent G20 agreements and international treaties will transfer control of America’s industries into foreign hands. As the prison bars drop around formerly free commerce, the coming government Health Care plan will be the key that locks the cell currently surrounding the individual right now. More on that later.

In an interview Wednesday morning with The Washington Times "America's Morning News," Mrs. Bachmann, Minnesota Republican, said the questions have become "very intricate, very personal" and she also fears ACORN, the community organizing group that came under fire for its voter registration efforts last year, will be part of the Census Bureau's door-to-door information collection efforts.
"I know for my family the only question we will be answering is how many people are in our home," she said. "We won't be answering any information beyond that, because the Constitution doesn't require any information beyond that." ............Full story here:

If that makes you angry then the actual questions may send you into a rage. They are incredibly intrusive and according to what I can read in the Constitution, unenforceable. I think Michele Bachmann has the right idea here. If we as citizens do not start drawing the line and standing up for our rights, the government will continue to intrude further and further into our lives. I urge every citizen to answer only the question that is mandated by your Constitution, number of people in your household . Period. Have your pocket Constitutions handy and quickly point out to the ACORN member bullying you what your rights are. You may also want to request that they not put a GPS-tag on your front door. If enough Americans are willing to do this, it will be a very powerful message sent to Washington.

The Iranian people apparently have the courage to stand up to their oppressive government. Do you?

Speaker West?

I attended a town hall meeting Sunday afternoon. LTC Allen West graciously accepted an invitation from our local political action group to speak and answer questions. The group is not large and the majority of it's members don't' live in District 22 and therefore cannot vote for Mr. West. He came anyway and I asked him later what motivated him to come out on a Sunday under those circumstances. Allen's answer, quote "it was about being with the people".

Mr. West opened with with some light hearted comments and then dove into a well articulated, unscripted, teleprompter less, analysis of the most urgent dangers facing this country. The room was silent and focused like a laser beam. I kept waiting for the tired old cliches, the polished political jargon and the career politician double talk. Refreshingly, I waited in vain. He spoke to the group in a plain but educated language that all could understand. The serious and direct nature of his comments set the tone for a truly meaningful event. Jim Lehrer would not be stepping in here to maintain triviality. This was candidate to constituent without buffer the way it was meant to be.

The questions were tough, pointed and pertinent. No softballs here. They were coming in fast and furious; curve, fastball and the occasional change up. The Colonel went yard with each query like Hank Aaron at a home run derby. His answers were tougher than the questions and didn't always please everybody in the room. That was not and is not his style. There were certain moments when the conversation became heated. Allen took command like a true leader and made his positions clear. It is obvious that Allen West has not only refused to be politically corrected, he has very little admiration for those who have. My guess is that 22 years of military service, standing on the wall to protect our country has a lot do with that demeanor.

LTC Allen West has promised to bring the Florida heat to Washington D.C. He looks forward to standing toe to toe with Nancy Pelosi and kicking down the door to the Congressional Black Caucus. Not for his own self aggrandizement but to expose the corruption and stop the madness that has gripped the governing elite. The Colonel pledges to be a mega-dose of bad medicine for a seriously ill political system.

Quite frankly, I believe him.

Backdoor Totalitarianism

I have a good friend who is an officer with the BSO. Great guy with a great family. We went to his home for a visit a couple of years ago. I pulled my van into his driveway and stepped out to greet him. He was standing several yards back with one of his fellow officers. As I approached them, they gave me a stern look and pointed at my license plate. It was July 31st and my tags expired at the end of July. They joked that if I stayed overnight, I would have a ticket on my windshield in the morning. I promised that I would be gone before midnight so they proceeded to point out that my tires were under inflated, a very serious violation.

This was all good fun and we had a good laugh. Later that evening, after a couple of beers (maybe 3 or 4), my friend explained to me that there were so many laws on the books concerning traffic violations, vehicle safety and equipment maintenance that any person could be pulled over at any moment for any reason. My personal experience told me that he was correct. I don't blame my friend, he is just doing his job.

This conversation stayed with me for a long time. I began to look around and realize that almost every human endeavour is regulated in some form or another by a local, state or federal law. Whether you are driving your car, cutting down a tree in your yard, lighting a cigarette, popping the top on a beer, walking down the street, or just fishing in a lake......there is that little voice in the back of your head. That voice that says, "Am I breaking a law?", "Is this legal?", "Am I allowed to be here?".

When a government passes law after law, layer upon layer of regulation, they have in a democratic and legalistic process, taken control of your life. When there is a law for everything, I can guarantee you that at any moment you are in violation of some law, code or regulation. Try to compare this scenario to the tax code. We have all seen the biblical dimensions of the tax code in this country. We have heard the stories of 5 different IRS agents arriving at 5 different conclusions for the same tax return. I think it is safe to assume that every single citizen has violated some tax law somewhere in that tangled, incomprehensible book of regulations. Therefore, we are all criminals. By the same token, with the immeasurable number of laws on the books regulating our behavior, it's safe to assume that at any moment, somewhere, somehow, we have committed some crime.

Personally, I don't see any difference in our current situation to that of people living in tyranny. We are forced to get up every morning to work to support the State with an endless amount of taxes. We are allowed to move about only with the permission of the State and only if we follow their rules. We must live a government approved lifestyle or be punished or imprisoned. We must have a government approved personality or be arrested, fired from our job or worse, turned in by family or friends to be drugged into acceptability. In order to prosper, one must either fly under the radar or curry favor with the elite governing class. Otherwise, a friendly IRS agent will be calling or the government controlled media will destroy your name, honor and reputation.

Free men and women do not live like this. They do not "report" their income to a master. They do not ask permission from a master to cut down a tree on their property. They do not carry endless forms of identification simply to get into their car and drive, they do not ask a master permission to raise their children as they see fit. Free men and women drive the car of their choice, not the pre-selected, government approved vehicle forced upon them.

Many of you have grown comfortable in your cages. Some money in the bank, nice house, vacation every year. So what if you have to abide by the rules set forth by the nameless and the faceless, cradle to grave. Much like the pedigree dog living with the nice family, you have grown accustomed to sitting and rolling over on command as long as you are fed, groomed and can sleep in the Big House. Must I remind you again of what it means to trade your freedoms for material wealth? Go ahead and lick the hand that feeds you but don't ever forget what you have become.

In case you have forgotten let me remind you. The Declaration of Independence is the Emancipation Proclamation for all mankind. The Constitution is the legal contract guaranteeing that emancipation. You have but one duty as a citizen living under this great blanket of freedom paid for by men and women much stronger and wiser than ourselves. "Protect and defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic." When is the last time you have read either document? The Declaration of Independence is a simple but beautiful piece of art that was undeniably inspired by a higher power. It stated for the first time in known history that men and women are inherently free beings unconstrained by any power other than the Creator.

Consider for a moment that the institution of slavery has been with us since the beginning of civilization. From the Jews being enslaved by the Pharaoh to Africans being shipped into bondage all over the world in recent history . It has been acceptable throughout mankind's history for Oligarchs, Monarchs, Dictators, Pharaohs, Isms, etc. to enslave and control human beings at their discretion. This all changed in 1776. We are all enjoying the fruits of that incredible revolution but sadly have ceded freedom after freedom to an all too willing government.

It's not too late to stand up and do your duty. Our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers paid with their lives. Are we too weak now to even raise a voice? Shame on the first generation of Americans to lay down the freedoms bought and paid for with blood, treasure and sacrifice. Shame on all of us.........................

Obama Guilty of Treason???

The American government-media complex is a term coined by Dr. Michael Savage. President Eisenhower warned the nation of the military-industrial complex in his exit speech in 1961 and the danger it posed to our freedom. The current corporate owned and controlled media poses perhaps an even greater danger.

General Electric owns NBC and hence CNBC and MSNBC. General Electric has received massive amounts of bailout money from the government and is in line to receive billions more in government contracts. It is not surprising that these networks, MSNBC in particular are unabashedly pro Obama.

Fox is owned by foreigner, Rupert Murdoch but he sold a large share of the company to a Saudi Prince. Many are convinced that Fox News is ultra right wing. What Fox actually does is allow the conservative viewpoint to be presented respectfully, leans right in some of it's coverage but on the really important issues, remains silent or echoes the mainstream line.

Why is this important to know and understand? Well, most are unaware or have dismissed one of the most critical issues facing our nation. We are hurtling towards a Constitutional crisis of great magnitude. The government-media complex has blacked this out in order to protect their guy in the White House. We have to learn about the new details of this ongoing situation from a foreign media outlet. This should be front page news here in America. Yet, LCDR Fitzpatrick has publicly and formally charged President Barack Hussein Obama with the high crime of treason in a federal complaint filed with James R. Dedrick U.S. Attorney, Eastern District Tennessee, and Edgar Schmutzer, Dedrick’s Assistant U.S. Attorney on March 17, 2009."

It's important to note that Commander Fitzpatrick has not yet been charged with Mutiny. My attorney readers can chime in here but my guess is that they will not charge him so as to avoid a trial in which The President of the United States will finally (after countless lawsuits and millions of dollars spent on his behalf to avoid this) have to present in court the documentation necessary to prove he is Constitutionally eligible to be president.

I believe that Fitzpatrick is honoring his oath to protect and defend the Constitution and is a patriot on the same level as Patrick Henry or Samuel Adams. If enough Americans were to actually uphold their oath as citizens, we may start the process of restoring this nation to it's founding principles and reign in this out of control and oppressive federal government. Perhaps this act of courage by Commander Fitzpatrick is the second "shot heard 'round the world".
